Description
1865 Plain 5 2C “-o” AU55 very pretty brown color and nice luster, with the reverse and edges still looking mint state. The obverse wear may be mostly from album slide friction. The reverse has the no serif D, there are cracks through UNITED STATES OF, and there is a counterclockwise rotation to about 11:30. Most of the elements on the reverse have strong strike doubling to the right.
