Description
1928-S Small S 25C XF45, bought from J.H. Cline in 2000. The Small S mintmarks is much harder to find than the usually seen Large S and has been given the variety number C-5351 in the J.H. Cline book(scan attached). The obverse has strong cracks right of the mintmark and over the date. Maybe it becomes a retained cud in a later die stage? A nice coin with lots of luster as well as being a desirable variety.
