1870 3CN AU50, toned and very nice original, sold with a note on the holder saying: “Deceivingly little wear”, and after close study I agree. What appears to be some wear in a few areas is actually weakly struck elements. There is underlying luster in the fields. A sophisticated coin to evaluate for sure.
