Description
1865 Plain 5 2C, “-aj” F15 with full shield lines and the E in WE is not strong, but otherwise it would be a VF. Has some very small marks but nothing serious. This variety shows strong reverse cracks through TATES OF AME with a die chip on the crack between ER. The upper serif of D is the outlined type.
