1855 3CS AU Details Cleaned NGC, “Outlined Star”, no repunched date, very scarce! Variety not listed on the holder. The vast majority of all 1855’s have one of two repunched dates that are obvious inside both 5’s. Only once in a while do you see this variety listed as Breen#2921 with no repunched date, and a strong extra outline around most of the large obverse star.
